How it works

Send the details, we verify, it goes live

DropZonez currently lists 112 drop zones and 39 indoor skydiving venues across the United States. Listings are compiled from public sources, so operators are not asked to do anything — but details sent directly by the people running a drop zone are the most reliable information we can get.

What gets listed

  • ✓ Skydiving drop zones operating in the United States
  • ✓ Indoor skydiving wind tunnels
  • ✓ Clubs, not just commercial centres
  • ✓ Seasonal and weekend-only operations

What we ask for

None of it is mandatory — send what you have and we will research the rest.

  • ✓ Name, town and state
  • ✓ The airfield you fly from, and its FAA identifier if you know it
  • ✓ Your website
  • ✓ Services: tandem, student training, sport, coaching, rigging
  • ✓ Jump aircraft
What we deliberately do not publish

Prices, opening hours and jump availability all change faster than a directory can track, and stale versions of them are worse than none at all. Every listing links to the operator’s own site for anything time-sensitive. We also host no reviews and no photographs.

Corrections are just as welcome

Roughly a third of the listings researched so far needed some kind of correction — a closed business still listed, a drop zone at the wrong airfield, an operation trading under a different name. If something about your listing is wrong, or you have closed, tell us and it will be fixed or removed.

Listings are free, and always will be

There is no paid placement, no featured tier, and no fee to be included or to be listed higher. Nobody can pay to appear more favourably than an operator who submitted nothing.
